His practices have been good...BUT
We've only seen one game from him.
It's all relative to all the other roster spots in ref. to him making the team.
I liked how he played...BUT
We've only seen one game from him.
The only thing Slater has going is he is a good blocker and gunner.
Edelman will be lucky to make the team as a regular. Belichick won't throw him to the wolves until he builds up more muscle. right now he looks like he'll be creamed if he's popped running over the middle. Could he get right up like Welker ... I doubt it ... perhaps in a year or two but his body is nowhere near NFL full season ready yet. Take 1 look at Welker's upper body vs Edelman ... it's no contest in terms of muscle mass. Welker's neck is already several sizes bigger than Edelman's.
The kid is a keeper if Welker get's injured ... nothing more just yet.
That was enough to keep Willie Andrews around before he went off the deep end. . . .
Those were the times when we could waste roster spots. We are extremely deep with talent this year and i think that will trickle down to special teams.
That's what I was wondering too if someone can answer. I don't even remember much about Bam. Did he have a special teams TD also? I highly doubt he was ever as impressive as Edelman was last night or I doubt he would have been cut, especially in 2006 when we had next to nothing at wideout.
