Default Beckett the new Schilling?

I don't know about ya'll, but with the way Beckett is pitching as of right now I think he could be the new Schilling for us. Plus if Schilling leaves, and he is still pitching like he is right now then how couldn't he be.

He was 3-0 with a 1.29ERA and 1.05WHIP in his first 3 starts last season. I'd give it at least another month before I make any decision about him turning the corner or not.

He just looks a lot better than he did last year. He has a better mix of pitches, and everything he's throwing is nasty.

I'm not handing him the Cy yet, but it's very encouraging.

Me too. We have 3 Schillings now. It only takes 3 to win a W.S.
