Default Donald Thomas Appreciation Thread: Another 100 Yard game Without Mankins

Pretty impressive. Almost as impressive as the dual 100 yarders in the Buffalo game without Mankins.

Also noticed TFB didn't seem all that pressured yesterday.

Good work.

The way Wendell and Thomas are playing, I guess we can cancel that open call to Waters.

Good work.

For all of the bad mouthing Thomas has received in the past, the fact remains that he was a very physically talented individual who started playing football late.

Combine that talent with a good work ethic and training under the best OL coach in the business, and that is a formula for success.

Give some appreciation to Dante Scarnecchia.
Thomas seems to do quite well on Guard pulling run plays as well.

Dante Scarnecchia is the man - that was a good young defense out there yesterday and the Offensive line stonewalled them - zero sacks and 150+ on the ground.

Can we trade Mankins for a top 20 CB?

I do wonder once Mankins gets 100%, will BB consider sliding Thomas to RG and Connolly to C.

Wendell is decent but Connolly is a better C than a RG IMO.

This OLine is doing wonders with three relative no names in the middle (when Mankins is out), and Vollmer and Solder are doing better as compared to what most people thought about them in the pre-season. Hopefully they can keep this up and stay healthy.

I agree.

when the season started I thought the offensive line will give us more trouble than the secondary. But I must say, the guys upfront have done a great job.

I was expecting a ferocious pass rush last night by the Rams D line, but Brady just stood there forever, picking their defense apart. At times, I thought he was actually tanning in the pocket

Wait, it was raining...
