Random stuff I'd ask Tom...

1. What DID Willie say to you in the tunnel?
2. How do you and your teammates really feel about the Jets?
3. What opposing player POed you the most with his in game comments? What were they?
4. Which 2 teams defensive backfields give you the most headaches?
5. Aside from BB & co which coach and which team's org impresses you the most? Why?

Although I have never met Tom myself, I have a friend who is a 49ers fan, and who was not a fan of Brady in the least, happened to be sitting at Logan airport reading a magazine article about the Pats, when a man sits down next to him and starts talking to him about it. None other than Tom Brady. He said the same thing as you, that he was incredibly nice and now he definitely has a man crush on him.

Great questions!

I may make that first one a life goal to find out.

awesome story. Brady is such a good guy, it's amazing how everyone hates him.

Everyone i know in Illinois cannot stand the guy. I'm sure part of it is b/c im a crazy pats fan and my friends say it to me to mess with me, but a lot of them just don't like him... even people i work with.

One of my friends hates him simply because of his buttchin and thinks he's ****y . Others say he has horrible diseases or he is gay.

A lotta people are very jealous.

Please get those pics up (not Patjew), you are a lucky lucky man.

I played well. They did a small tournament type thing, we won. As a team we shot a 59, and I won the long drive contest. It was cool that I was the only Pats fan in the group so I got to hog all Brady's time while he was with us.

Got a Autographed Jersey (For the Longest drive - that they are sending to me) and a Autographed pin flag (Lowest Net Score).

Thanks for the story, Scottie. Hearing that Brady is still approachable, and easy to engage in conversation, only reinforces my belief that, in BK/SP/BB/TB, we are still backing the right horse.

Before he moved away, TB used to live at Marina Bay in Quincy MA. He would occasionally grocery-shop at the Fruit Center at East Milton Square, where my sister and some friends live. She has told me of times when she would see him there; but instead of running over to him, asking for autographs, blah blah blah, she - and most everyone else - just respected his space, and if nearby would offer only some "How ya feelin'?", "Great game" and "Good Luck" bon-mots. And Brady would always acknowledge with a smile and polite response. And that's the way it should be, for both sides.

On a side note, my sister has also told me of the times that she had seen Derek Lowe, who lived at Marina Bay as well, IIRC. Though he has a somewhat unsavory reputation now, she had nothing but good things to say about the way in which he dealt with her and my nephew and niece. He also appeared a couple of times at the kids' youth baseball games in Milton before he left after the 2004 season.

Some other questions I would ask:

How badly were you hurt after the SD game?
How badly were you still hurt before the SB?
Did you ask BB to activate Troy Brown, once you learned that he would be inactive for the SB?
Why didn't you, and the rest of the team, come out more animated before the game, to show the world that all this crap wasn't getting to you?
What did you say to Skippy and the OL at halftime?
Did you ever consider changing the call on 3rd/7 from the jints' 25 in the 3rd quarter?
Why didn't you take more time off the clock, or force the jints to use their TOs, during the goal-to-go series late in the 4th quarter?

And those are off the top of my head.
