Default Individual Game Tickets

They went on sale this morning at 10 AM EST, as of a minute ago you could still get 2 tickets for the Bills & Dolphins game.

I got two for the Chiefs MNF game on 11/21.

Good luck!

Wow, there's quite a premium added to the price above season ticket holder prices. Mine are $117 in the 224 section. Ticketmaster has them at $143

Got my tickets for the Chargers game. Grew up in Maine, but I never actually attended a Patriots game in person. Now I live in Chattanooga, TN, where my girlfriend and I watch Patriots games religiously every week. We were planning a trip to Maine in mid-September, so I'm pretty pumped up about getting tickets to the Chargers game.
Well, enough of my life story. I would like a little advise from some the vets on this board. Which option do you think would be better (keep in mind that we are driving from Chattanooga (with an overnight stop probably in Northern Virginia or Maryland) and will be staying at an old family cabin near Bath, Maine):

1) Arrive in Maine on Saturday the 17th, take the Amtrak Downeaster (about $35 per person round-trip on Sunday morning from Portland to Boston). Take the "T" from Boston to Foxboro (I'm assuming this is still an option). Repeat in reverse on the way back. Any other transportation options which would be deemed better would certainly be strongly considered. The pros for this option would be: getting to Maine a day early (probably a day extra in vacation), getting situated in Maine at a decent hour (and a day earlier, again), and not having to deal with traffic and parking.
2) Drive directly to Foxboro (probably from Northern Virginia/Maryland) on the 18th by route of car. Park at the stadium ($40), experience the game, and leave for and arrive in Bath after the game. A less expensive parking option would be nice in this scenario. Pros for this situation would mainly be from a time and money efficiency point of view. Wouldn't have to go all the way up to Maine and then go back down to Foxboro the next day. Would save money in gas and not paying for Amtrak/T tickets (of course some of that amount would be negated by the cost of parking). I would imagine, however, that parking and traffic is a pretty big headache, and, as such, would probably not get to Bath until pretty late.

Don't know if this is the right thread to pose this questions, but I would greatly appreciate any advise on this matter.

Thank you!

i would be so exhausted in the number 2 scenario. It will be getting kinda late leaving the stadium to drive back to Maine for my liking. How long should that take? Keep in mind the slow exit and slow going with the traffic. Could you take the money you save in gas in the first scenario and get a room say 25 miles away from Gillette? the rates aren't too bad that far away from the stadium. That's what I'd do. I hate driving long distances after the late games

Coordinating with the Downeaster blows this away. It runs infrequently from Portland.

Save the $70 train tix useless anyway. Drive. Pay for the parking and find a cheap motel off 495 for game night.

You need to arrive at the Stadium over an hour before game time. Arrive 3 hours early and you might get a parking spot that gets you out of the lot in under an hour. Yes, I know it sucks.
