Re: Will Brady ever get No. 4?
We are so spoiled as a fan base. The fact that we won 3 out of 4 superbowls should be enough but not enough for this guy apparently. Yes I would like them to win every superbowl but BB and TB are only human.
Plus I think we could very well win one in the next few seasons with even average QB play. McCourty looks like hes going to be a star as with Patrick Chung who I think once he improves his coverage skills can be a top flight safety. Wilfork is already a stud and Mayo is on the brink of stardome and Spikes looks like hes going to be a great run stopper once he gets into his own. What remains? We need another stud defensive lineman like Ty Warren circa 2006, or a Richard Seymour. Wilfork is doing sooo much right now for a 3-4 2 gap NT, he needs help.
We need another OLB or two. It sounds like im spoiled but that needs to happen. Cunningham showed promise his first season so hopefully he improves. We still havent replaced the void Willie McGinnest left when he left after the 05 season.
We need another wide receiver, and I mean an actual number 1 receiver. The Jets exposed us to by dropping 7 into coverage while playing tight man to man coverage with safety help. Brady had time most plays but couldnt make any plays because no body could get open. We have 2 first round picks this season, maybe we can use one on an AJ Green, or swing a trade for someone elite, like Larry Fitzgerald.
