Default Felger Smackdown

I heard something about Felger getting a little puppy dog look on his face during a postgame interview last night. As I wasn't able to either see or record the interview, does anyone have any insight into this???

Apparently, some player gave him a big old plate of humble pie to eat.

Anyone?

Matt Light called him out for talking to the other players about thing he had told Felger.

There's only two conclusions for Patriots fans on rookies. They are either a bust or being fitted for their bust in Canton.

Yeah , Felger didn't have much to say after that. It was quite nice, actually seeing him want to crawl in a hole.

What did Light tell Felger?

LOL Probably some things he talked with him about in background, off the record, as players do with mediots they think they have a relationship with. Light and Vrabel were "assigned" to do his Patriots Friday show on ESPN Radio this season. Not an easy assignment to work with a ratings whore. Obviously they were selected for their intelligence and savvy, so to speak. They both seem to grasp what he is, judging from some of the barbs and banter they exchange on the show, but maybe Light miscalculated just how big a whore Felger has become. I think he got Miller in more than a little hot water when he was his first regular guest on the show. Eventually Miller stopped showing up.

A quick remark on the TV recently,
after Felger made a positive reference to Moses Malone,
wrt Celtics play, he was told
"Moses is not to popular around here"
no more was said.

Where is Felger from?
I always got the feeling he does not like
Boston or the fans here.

Same with D&C on EEI,actually.

Light never really spelled that out specifically but he did reference the defense which made me wonder if it was something to do with Vrabel who also does a spot on Felger's radio show.

Moses Malone is why I can't take the regular NBA season seriously at all. The guy was unbelievable in the playoffs. But I caught his act at the Boston Garden a few times during the regular season. This is what the TV cameras failed to catch during the fast break basketball of the 1980s. Moses Malone would just stand under the offensive basket and try to cherry pick. He would not run back downcourt at all. What a joke.

And Felger is lauding this guy?

Felger is from Wisconsin and loves the Packers.

Callahan is from Chelmsford and is just a dick. Dennis is from Pittsburgh.
