Default Vilma To be shopped around by jets?

Rumor mill on foxsports that the Jets maybe shopping Vilma to possibly the Redskins because he didn't adapt well to mangini's defensive scheme.
Now I know there is no way that we could attain him but man it would be sweet personally to get him out of the afc east he is a beast of a player.
It's probally a bogus rumor but didn't see it mentioned here so I thought i'd drop it in a thread.

the Jets are probably trying to get that 6th overall pick, plus next year's 1st. You know how Dan Snyder hordes picks

Well I thought I would share this with you on what I read about the rumor also.

If the London Fletcher-Baker deal isn't consummated and Buffalo's Nate Clements opts to sign elsewhere, the Redskins could trade for Jets middle linebacker Jonathan Vilma.

The Jets would fleece the Skins on that, and then would go big to sign Thomas. I'd rather keep Vilma on the Jets if those are the alternatives.

If Vilma didn't adapt well to Mangini's version of the BB 3-4, why does anyone want him? Unless you are thinking SS...

I heard that the Redskins called NYJ's and wanted to trade firsts for Vilma + and were rebuffed. Skins weren't sure they could get London-Fletcher and they were checking out options.

This thread isn't about wanting him on this team.

Yeah I just said it be a nice thought to get him out of the divison.
Also think about this if your AT and you have the choice to go to the niners the jets and the pats, it almost has to be pats and niners if the money is close.
I know you bring up about Nolan being so familar with AT but New england is alot closer than california. I mean maybe the guy wants to stay at the same climate and might not like the heat.
Also he seemed pretty Buddy Buddy with BB at the probowl just a thought.
Also assinate me now but i wouldn't be completely shocked if one of our starting lb's were released just throwing it out there as a crazy possibility.
Who predicted the release of slade?
