QB exchange
Speaking on a conference call with New England reporters, Titans QB Vince Young recalled meeting Patriots QB Tom Brady at the ESPY awards.
“I have a lot of respect for him,” Young said. “We talked a lot during the ESPY awards. A lot of people haven’t given him the type of pub that he [deserves]. I really feel like he’s doing a great job overall of taking the team to the Super Bowl, doing all the different things. But you don’t hear too much about him. He’s one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL who don’t get the pub that he’s supposed to.”
Young said the meeting with Brady at the ESPYs caught him by surprise.
“I didn’t even know he was there until he approached me, and when I saw him, I was a little shocked and excited to stand there and talk to The Man, to me. A guy who will do whatever it takes to win ballgames and also continue to get better and better each year. We just basically talked about different things, how to carry yourself and just play the game you’ve been playing all your life.”
Later, Young added that Brady has gotten to the point of winning Super Bowls, calling his own plays, and “if it was up to me, and I had a chance to get in the media, I’d talk about him a whole lot -- that he should be the face of the NFL. Not taking anything away from Peyton Manning, but he has done the job, even though people said he couldn’t.”

Seriously, that's a very nice tribute. Hope Vince does well...after Sunday.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded here and there, now and then are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH

It sounds like a BB/TB ball-washing of the opposing team before a game
If not, it sounds like the kid's got a good, receptive head on his shoulders. And one helluva mentor!

Vince has that something that Vick and Manning lack. He is a winner. There is just something about guys like him, they are winners. Vince Young is going to be one of those players with poor stats who just wins - and it will drive people crazy.
For a guy who scored a 7 at the Combine test, he sounds like one smart dude. And, he has been playing like a #1 pick.
Ya know i've heard he scored 12, 9, now 7, I mean seriously does anybody know this for fact???
No matter, like BB said, he knows how to win, really all you need to know as a football player.
Wonderlic is OVERRATED!
I love this kid and that's saying a lot considering I went to OU and he played at Texas. A truly impressive athlete who has far exceeded my expectations for a rookie season. His play in the national title game last year was breathtaking.
