Default Unoriginal (or others) O-line analysis?

I know we looked pretty darn bad and it's like polishing a turd (it doesn't get better and just makes you feel dirty), but has anyone (unoriginal is the one that springs to mind, but I'd love to hear from anyone with some better insight into this aspect of the game) looked at how things broke down over the course of the game? Was it scheming and stunting (I know they weren't bringing the house, but was the right side of the line getting beaten straight up or beaten mentally?) or just flat out lack of performance. It certainly looked like Kaczur was just slow and awful on pass protection against faster players, but I didn't see a lot of Yates as the game progressed...was that a good sign or just him floating in space when he should have been giving Kaczur a bit of help?

It certainly looked to my eyes like the left side of the line wasn't too bad except when the tight ends (watson mostly) let Porter run rampant, but I didn't notice Koppen, Mankins, or Light looking awful the way Kaczur did. Thoughts, analysis, input? If not, I understand, I can't really bring myself to watch that over yet, but was hoping for something to read other than "o noez, weze doomd!" or "yoo suck at cheerz!"

Right now, our O-Line is the Football equivilent of me sneaking in a pint to a game. Sometimes I get blocked, most of the time I dont.

glad i could help, But you get the picture.

Sorry, been at work for 14 hours and bored as hell, so I might be getting a little....well, you know. But for real, since the end of the season last year and now, its very evident that our QB needs better protection. Brady got hammered in the SB, and it doesnt look like weve improved over that from last year...

Awesome news, can't wait to see it. I'm not interested in bashing the line, I'm interested in seeing someone break down what happened and see if it's correctable/coachable, schemable, or what.

Awesome. This is the thread I've been waiting for - my gut tells me that the OL has been average or below for a while now, I'd love to see some statistics/breakdowns on this to prove or disprove it.

Looking forward to the work!

Been busy the last few days, but I'm about half done with what I'm working on and I'll have it out by the weekend.
