Default OT: Salary cap resource

The guy who runs nyjetscap.com thought that following the salary cap for the AFC East teams wasn't enough, so he started a web site that follows the cap for ALL 32 teams.

For those interested by cap stuff, check out Over the Cap - NFL salary cap, contracts, and more

I have nothing to do with the web site but think it's a good resource.

Help me here

» Over the Cap- New England Patriots 2013 Salary Cap Page

So we cut Lloyd and it costs half a mill?

I don't get that number. Perhaps it is assumed that $3M option is paid. I wouldn't make that assumption.

To keep myself from going insane I will always put the option assumption in a contract similar to how the league values them. But in Lloyds case Id say that the option has a strong chance of not being paid out so you'll actually save some cap room in that move. Its $2 million in savings.

I really like the way Jason set's up up his cap pages. Really good information regrdless of which team as most of us are interested in how other teams cap looks.
