Additional Notes:

According to Mark Daniels, the plan is to bring defensive tackle David Olajiga back to the practice squad.  The defensive tackle had an International Pathway exemption, which previously gave the club an additional roster spot this preseason, and he’ll do the same again on the practice squad should he return.

According to Ethan Hurwitz of SI.com, the Patriots have placed both Jahlani Tavai and Ja’Lynn Polk on injured reserve, albeit it sounds like they’ve been given that status with the designation to potentially return.  We’ll verify that when the league releases the final transactions.

UPDATE: Mike Reiss of ESPN reports that Tavai has been given the designation to return, while Polk will miss the 2025 season.

These cuts are also reflected on our current Patriots roster, which breaks down the various positions and shows the current player total(s).

The club did release a final graphic of the roster via their official account on X.

With that in mind, it’s possible that, given the number of players who were released by other teams, the Patriots could potentially explore bringing in players who could affect this group.

As a result, this may not be the final list.  But we’ll update it as it changes.

This list was last updated on 8/26 at 5:15 pm ET.
