Over his seven professional seasons, New England Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon has developed into one of the NFL’s premier and dominant defensive players.
A fourth-round draft selection out of Grand Valley State by the Baltimore Ravens in 2016, Judon averaged 6.9 sacks per season, 34.5 total sacks, seven forced fumbles, and two Pro Bowl selections during his first five years in the Charm City.
In 2021, Judon signed a four-year, $56 million free-agent contract with the New England Patriots and elevated his play to an even higher level.
Over 26 games as a Patriot, Judon has 24 sacks and earned a third consecutive Pro Bowl selection in 2021.
Presently Judon leads the NFL with 11.5 sacks and is on pace to break the Patriots franchise record of 18.5 held by Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Tippett.
Despite his career success across two teams, one Ravens fan couldn’t help but act jealous of Judon’s work put in elsewhere, but Judon replied in the best way possible.
The fan essentially claimed Judon was not as good a player in Baltimore as in New England, which is far from true.
Judon defended himself by reminding the fan he was, in fact, a quality player as a Raven, but to look at the complete picture beyond the stat sheet.
I rock with y’all too but y’all ain’t watch the games. Y’all looked at the stat sheet n that was it.

Clearly, that fan did not appreciate Judon enough during his Ravens tenure. His loss remains the Patriots’ gain.
