As the New England Patriots continue to do work on the field this fall, construction work on the team’s home stadium of 20 years continues.

Gillette Stadium is currently in the midst of a $225 Million renovation project that will completely alter the north end zone side.

Pieces to the renovation include a newly transformed lighthouse, the largest outdoor HD video board ever constructed in the U.S., and new hospitality and function space.

“I say thank you to the fans, who’ve supported us this whole trip. Because of their support, we felt confident. We’ve invested well over half a billion dollars in the stadium in the last 20 years … Our fans are awesome. We have to give them a place that’s worthy of their support” Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft said in May.

“This is like our home in the New England region, so we’re always going to do everything we can to make it first class, and I think when you see the renovation in the end zone, it’s going to be something we’re all very proud of.”

On Thursday, the Patriots pulled back the curtain on how the project is coming along and how the construction team is aiming for a completion date prior to the 2023 NFL season.
