Social Media Roundup: The Patriots Show Off Their Celtics Support
Steve Balestrieri - PatsFans.com
On Monday, a few current and former members of the Patriots voiced their support over social media for the Boston Celtics during their basketball game against the Brooklyn Nets.
The Celtics, who came into the night leading the first-round playoff series three games to none, pulled off the sweep of their division rivals with a 116-112 victory.
Running back Damien Harris has become one of the most vocal Celtics supporters on the Patriots this season, becoming close friends with Celtics star Jayson Tatum. “I’ve seen JT and some other guys at some of our games and I think it’s just fun that we all interact,” Harris said earlier this month.
“I’ve gotten to get to know some guys from different teams and just being able to support one another, we’re all on the same journey, trying to be the best athletes that we can be, the best men, so, just embracing the sports culture in this town.”
