Just days after being named a 2022 Pro Bowler, it appears Patriots rookie quarterback Mac Jones will now be getting the full experience.
On Wednesday, Jones was chosen to be part of the AFC’s 8-man team that will compete in the fifth “Pro Bowl Skills Showdown” on Thursday night (7:00 pm EST) in Las Vegas on ESPN.
Jones will join Ravens TE Mark Andrews, Browns RB Nick Chubbb, Bills WR Stefon Diggs, Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill, the Chargers’ S Derwin James, Raiders TE Hunter Renfrow, and Browns CB Denzel Ward on the AFC team.
As for the NFC team, it will consist of Vikings QB Kirk Cousins and WR Justin Jefferson, Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs and LB Micah Parsons, Saints RB Alvin Kamara, Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, and Eagles CB Darius Slay.
The two teams from each conference will then compete in five events, Precision Passing, Thread The Needle, Best Catch, Fastest Man, and Epic Pro Dodgeball.
Both the Fastest Man and Best Catch events are new to the skills contest.
Following Thursday’s festivities, Jones will join teammates Matthew Judon, J.C. Jackson, and Matthew Slater at Sunday’s Pro Bowl.
