New England Patriots linebacker Brandon Copeland has put together an eight-year career in the National Football League, but when he’s not playing defense, he can be found in the classroom as a collegiate professor.
Copeland spends his offseason’s teaching a financial literacy course at his Alma-mater, the University of Pennsylvania. He also shares free financial tips for his fellow NFL players in online webinars.
According to his website, Copeland’s “Life 101” course deals with what he calls, “Realities of life that we ALL have to deal with regardless of what major or profession we enter.”
In the latest episode of the Patriots “Do Your Life” web series, Copeland shares why he pursued a second career in teaching as “Professor Cope”.
