VIDEO: Stephon Gilmore Recites Letter To His Son About Social Justice, Featured On Game Cleats

As the NFL continues its annual “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign through December, New England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore recently shared the personal story behind the design of his own cleats.
In an effort to help his five-year old son Sebastian better understand the “Black Lives Matter” movement, Gilmore wrote a letter explaining its importance alongside his hopes and dreams for the future world that his son will live in.
Gilmore then had the letter placed on his cleats while also featuring drawings created by his son.
