Following another tough defeat on Sunday that saw the Patriots fall to 4-6 and playoff hopes getting tougher, team captain David Andrews wasn’t ready to give up on the season.

Speaking with the media via video conference Monday, Andrews shared his mindset moving forward to the Arizona Cardinals and how the team can turn things around.

“I think the biggest thing you can show coming in on a day like today and your attitude, working,” he said. “The only way I know to fix things is to go back to work. Whatever it may take, put a little extra in in certain areas. I think that can be the biggest example. You can say whatever you want, but if your actions don’t match those words then they are just words. I think that’s the biggest thing — learn from our mistakes, take responsibility for the things you messed up on and try to correct them.”

In a post to his Instagram Tuesday, Andrews reiterated his “back to work” message.

Despite an overall lackluster outing for the offensive line, Andrews was the only member of the unit not to allow a single pressure or run stuff.

Just one year after dealing with serious health issues from blood clots and a stint on IR with a thumb injury a month ago, Andrews has seen 100% of snaps since week 7.

Andrews and his line mates will look to help put the Patriots back in the win column against a Cardinals defense that has struggled most of the year and delt with injuries to key players such as Chandler Jones.
