On Instagram this week, both Julian Edelman and Stephon Gilmore voiced their excitement for opening week with hype posts.
Edelman shared a photo from his usual pregame warm up routine while Gilmore shared some symbolic graphic art featuring himself staring at a mountain with all of his previous awards and accolades behind him.
“That ‘football starts this week’ feeling #LetsGooo”, Edelman wrote in his post.
Gilmore meanwhile, wrote a letter to the past and future.

Sunday’s 1pm game against the Miami Dolphins will mark the first time since the 2016 opener a new quarterback will be leading the way.
With Super Bowl champion veterans Edelman and Gilmore by his side, Cam Newton will look to continue the Patriots run atop the AFC East post Tom Brady.
