After a rather disappointing 2019 campaign that saw him battle an ankle injury limiting his Patriots production, wide receiver Mohamed Sanu continues working towards being an impactful piece to the offense in 2020.
On his Instagram, Sanu showed off a ridiculous one-handed catch during some workouts.
Check it out for yourself below.
Sanu has spent this offseason rehabbing with Seth Minter, known online as “the foot doctor”.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated on June 12th, Minter provided an update on Sanu’s progress post ankle surgery.
“We definitely have taken leaps and bounds compared to what he was diagnosed to be as far as how long it would be for his recovery,” Minter said. “He went to go see his doctor not that long ago, and his doctor made a comment like ‘I’ve never seen something like this. Mo, the strength you have in your ankle right now at three months removed compares to someone else with the same injury and are 6-7 months removed from surgery.’”
The one handed catch comes a week after Sanu was seen fielding punts launched over a house.
If Sanu makes a full recovery, the trio of himself, Julian Edelman and N’Keal Harry could be a formidable unit for second-year quarterback Jarrett Stidham should he land the starting job.
