June is normally the height of the NFL offseason as players take summer vacations and largely spend time away from the football field.
Julian Edelman has other ideas.
On Instagram this week, Edelman was spotted on Instagram doing additional training for the 2020 season.
Edelman once again is expected to be the number one wide receiver for the Patriots, but will seek to develop chemistry with a new starting quarterback.

Earlier this month, NFL Network’s Mike Giardi revealed that one of Edelman’s teammates was raving about his preparation and that he has a new chip on his shoulder thanks to those who believe he won’t succeed without Tom Brady.
Asked one #Patriot about Julian Edelman's mindset this season. JE's been a regular at throwing sessions. "Julian is Julian. He hates excuses. He hates to lose. He's already got the red ass about this season. People thinking we're no good and (that) he's just a product of Brady."

While a starting quarterback won’t be named for sometime, second-year QB Jarrett Stidham is the favorite to land the job.
Nevertheless, Stidham confirmed earlier this month that he has joined Edelman for workout sessions and the duo is “seeing each other almost every day”according to ESPN Boston’s Mike Reiss.
Edelman and the Patriots will be expected to report back to Foxborough on July 28th for the start of training camp barring any COVID-19 setbacks.
