Patriots Activate Isaiah Wynn From Injured Reserve
Greg M. Cooper - USA TODAY Sports
The Patriots offensive line is receiving a boost this week and it comes from their starting left tackle.
Isaiah Wynn was formally activated to the 53-man roster on Tuesday evening.
Wynn was on injured reserve weeks three to eleven following a toe injury he sustained during the Patriots 43-0 week two victory over the Miami Dolphins.
In order to create a roster spot for Wynn, the Patriots placed WR/PR Gunner Olszewski on injured reserve with an ankle/hamstring injury.
Isaiah Wynn played 82 regular season snaps before being placed on IR.
Wynn gave up just 1 hit on 45 pass blocking snaps, giving him a 77.4 Pass Blocking Grade in his limited NFL action. https://t.co/BtnoumPaqv

Marshall Newhouse had been filling in for Wynn at left tackle, starting the last eight games for the injured Wynn.
Wynn hinted at the news earlier in the day Tuesday with a tweet.
