In the first half, the Patriots found themselves down 10-0 early in the second quarter as the offense struggled.
In what was originally ruled an interception by Jonathan Jones, the call was reversed giving the Eagles the games first touchdown by tight end Dallas Goedert.
Despite the offensive struggles, the Patriots boogeymen defense kept the game close, and three Nick Folk field goals brought the Patriots within one at halftime.

In the third quarter, the Patriots took their first lead of the game courtesy of some trickery and a former quarterback.

A Phillip Dorsett 15yard touchdown pass from Julian Edelman gave the Patriots a 15-10 lead, a two point conversion pushed it to seven.

"Keeps his quarterback rating up there pretty high so I'm sure we'll have to ice his shoulder down this week and massage it and everything else. That was a great play by Julian." pic.twitter.com/QB0H22xMGI

Over the next quarter and a half the Patriots defense completely shut down the Eagles offense, while the special teams unit continued to pin them deep in their own territory.

Today marked the 1st game in Tom Brady's career that another Patriot led the team in TD passes when Brady played the entire game.
That’s among 317 career starts, including the playoffs.

The Eagles had been averaging over 27 points per game at home. They put up 31 against the Bills in Buffalo two games ago and 22 against the Bears in their last game.
Patriots held them to 10 in their own building. I'd say that's pretty solid.
