Week three of the 2019 preseason saw Tom Brady start for the Patriots for the first time.

In what would become an unfortunate occurrence throughout the night, the Patriots medical tent saw frequent action.
With the first quarter winding down and the game still scoreless, Panthers safety Eric Reid delivered a controversial late hit on Ben Watson.
At the time of this posting, Eric Reid has reportedly apologized for the late hit but no NFL action has been made.
With the game scoreless through a quarter, Brady finally put together a scoring drive.
7-0 Patriots following a James Develin rushing touchdown.
Just before halftime, the Patriots special teams unit was delt a serious blow when Brandon King suffered a torn quadriceps muscle.
King was placed on season ending injured reserve.
Through one half of play the Patriots lead remained 7-0.
The second half remained quiet for both squads backup players as the Patriots and Panthers traded field goals in a 10-3 final score.
The Patriots will conclude the 2019 preseason on Thursday night against the New York Giants at Gillette Stadium.
