Fans of the New York Jets may struggle to admit it, but their Super Bowl III MVP Joe Namath isn’t afraid to admit Tom Brady is the greatest of all time.

Speaking on “The Howard Stern Show” Monday, the Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback shared his true feelings about Brady.

“Tom is the best,” Namath said. “I’ve been asked that question for many years. Johnny [Unitas] was my hero, Otto Graham was great, slingin’ Sammy Baugh, I could go back. But meantime, Tom has been challenged more in recent history with huge games certainly than anyone I recollect, and he’s stepped up every time.”

Check out Namath’s thoughts on Brady below.

Brady took notice of the praise and shared a response over his Instagram story.

After @RealJoeNamath called @TomBrady the best QB in NFL History on @HowardStern, Brady responded by saying: "I'm flattered and humbled!"
