VIDEO: Julian Edelman “Bet Against Us”

For the first time in 52 games, Julian Edelman’s New England Patriots find themselves as three-point underdogs in the AFC Championship.
The Patriots were last underdogs during the first two weeks of the 2016 season during Tom Brady’s suspension.
With Brady under center, the Patriots have been favored in every game dating back to November 30th, 2014.
The Patriots were three-point underdogs to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
Since 2007, The Patriots have been favored in 23 of their last 24 playoff games.
Their lone underdog appearance came in the 2014 AFC Championship in Denver against the Broncos.
On his social media accounts Wednesday, Edelman embraced the teams underdog status with a hype video entitled “Bet Against Us”.
The video features sound bites from various media outlets that criticized the 2018 squad for not being good enough to win it all.
The Edelman video comes on the heels of Tom Brady and Kyle Van Noy publicly acknowledging the doubters and haters.
“Everyone knows we suck” Brady told CBS’ Tracey Wolfson following the teams victory over the Chargers Sunday.
Then on Wednesday, Van Noy went on 985 The Sports Hub’s Zolak and Bertrand program and had a few words to say about ESPN’s Max Kellerman.
For a team that on the surface may be far from underdogs, its clear they are embracing the “us against the world” attitude at the best time.
