The road to 1,000 career rushing yards is almost complete for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Heading into Sunday night’s match up with the Packers, Brady sits at 997.
On his Instagram account Friday, Brady posted video that contained some of his best running plays along with a caption that read “3 yards to go… 1000 career rushing yards… Sunday…. The time has come. I hope…. #TB1K”
During his Friday press conference, Brady was asked about the impending milestone.
“I’ve kind of inched along there,” Brady says when asked about hitting 1,000 yards. He’s getting close. Three yards away.
Asked him if he’ll be reluctant to take a knee (and lose yards) once he hits 1,000. Says that’s when he’ll call for Hoyer to come in. pic.twitter.com/QTYq9WjqwO
