Is there a more unpredictable Instagram account than that of Rob Gronkowski’s?
On Thursday, Gronk shared a rather eye opening picture of himself in full scuba gear with a tiger shark casually swimming past him in open waters.
The photograph coincided with a press release shared by the Discovery Channel announcing that the Patriots tight end will be prominently featured in the network’s Shark Week program “Monster Tag”
“Top athletes including Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Olympic Champion Lindsey Vonn and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will join forces with top shark scientists to learn crucial information about the ocean’s top predators. Shark populations are in trouble worldwide, but a daring collection of dedicated shark researchers are using the latest satellite technology to try and save them. The program will air during the 30th anniversary of “Shark Week” at a later date between July 22nd and 29th.
