Tom Brady got a new haircut for a worthy cause.
The Patriots quarterback was the mystery guest at a fundraiser on Thursday called “Saving By Shaving” for The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
The event was hosted at the headquarters for Granite Communications in Quincy Massachusetts. According to local reports the company pledged to donate over $5 million dollars to Dana-Farber if 1,000 people shaved their heads or beards.
Brady was joined by Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch, Boston Red Sox President Sam Kennedy, and Greg Hill of local radio station WAAF. In total the event helped raise nearly $5.8 million dollars.
