In another example of what makes Boston a special, unified sports city, New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman paid respect over social media to one of the greatest players to wear a Red Sox uniform on David Ortiz’ number retirement night this past Friday.
Ortiz, like the rest of Patriots Nation, went wild during the teams epic comeback in Super Bowl LI back in February.
