ICYMI: Bill Belichick Attends Celtics Game, Nearly Run Into By Lebron James
Stew Milne - USA TODAY Sports
Back at the New England Patriots championship parade in early February, New England Patriots head coach created the now infamous “No Days Off” chant at Boston City Hall plaza.
Well it appears even the coach does need some time off every once and awhile after he was spotted sitting courtside at the Boston Celtics home game against Lebron James and the rival Cleveland Cavaliers with his longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday.
Making it on the big screen multiple times, Belichick embraced the hometown crowd on multiple occasions, even smiling when the cameras came his way.

Belichick was later spotted laughing when Linda Holliday took part in a ball spin routine with a member of the Harlem Globetrotters, who were set to play in Boston a few days later.

A unique aspect about big sports towns like Boston is the comradery and respect the local teams have for each other, and it was displayed once again when Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas took a moment to approach the Super Bowl champion for a respectful handshake during a timeout.

Late in the fourth quarter, Belichick nearly found himself a part of the action when forward Lebron James nearly ran into the coach after attempting to block a shot.

Following the game, Belichick stopped by the Cavaliers locker room to speak with James where it appeared he showed no ill will for the near collision.
The Celtics went on to get the win 103-99 in front of the coach and multiple other Patriots players.
