Sometimes you just need to speak your mind, and on Instagram Thursday, NFL Network Analyst and former New England Patriots running back Heath Evans did just that.
Evans posted a photograph of quarterback Tom Brady and Owner Robert Kraft sharing an emotional post-game embrace followed by a lengthy show of support while complementing the two men who he once worked with.
Evans was a vocal supporter of Brady during and after Deflategate, going as far to say NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was “not his boss”, despite working for the leagues cable channel.
“People just want to say, ‘Hey, we want the Patriots to be cheaters’ because they can’t wrap their minds around for the last 15 years, they’re just better than everybody. That’s just the truth. People love to hate on the best.”
