Kevin Hoffman - USA TODAY Sports
The New England Patriots headed into their Week 8 showdown with the rival Buffalo Bills seeking revenge after getting shutout at home in a 16-0 loss just four weeks prior.

The Bills showed some chirpiness pregame, but the Patriots held their ground, pleasing the “hooded one.”

Patriots 14- Bills 3.
With 6:30 to go in the first half The Bills responded with a Mike Gillislee touchdown run to cut the deficit to 14-10 but left plenty of time on the clock for the Patriots to answer back.
How about Buffalo native Rob Gronkowski?
ANOTHER 53 yard touchdown score, this one for the Patriots team record 69 total touchdowns, surpassing Stanley Morgan.

The Bills would tack on a touchdown score following a 26 yard run up the middle to make it 31-17 Patriots with 7:57 to go in the third quarter but “Clydesdale Tom” would not be denied, proving to the doubters that Momma Brady knows best and he can run too.

The run would set up a LeGarette Blount touchdown score, his ninth of 2016 and all but iced the game for the Patriots. Another Gostkowski field goal raised the lead to 41-17
