The New England Patriots headed into their Week 8 showdown with the rival Buffalo Bills seeking revenge after getting shutout at home in a 16-0 loss just four weeks prior.

Before kickoff, “Bills Mafia” brought their “A game” with some ruthless Halloween themed signs for the Patriots.

The Bills showed some chirpiness pregame, but the Patriots held their ground, pleasing the “hooded one.”

After allowing a first drive field goal, Tom Brady drove the Patriots down the field as efficient as ever, finding Danny Amendola for a touchdown nine yards out and a lead they would never relinquish.

Following a Bills punt, Tom Brady caught the Bills secondary napping, as former Bill Chris Hogan torched cornerback Stephon Gillmore for a 53 yard :”rainbow pass” touchdown. The Brady deep ball is back.

Patriots 14- Bills 3.

With 6:30 to go in the first half The Bills responded with a Mike Gillislee touchdown run to cut the deficit to 14-10 but left plenty of time on the clock for the Patriots to answer back.

How about Buffalo native Rob Gronkowski?

ANOTHER 53 yard touchdown score, this one for the Patriots team record 69 total touchdowns, surpassing Stanley Morgan.

Just before halftime, kicker Stephen Gostkowski gained a much needed confidence booster following this booming 51 yard field goal to put the Patriots ahead 24-10 at the break.

After the game, Belichick was highly complementary of his kicker.

The Patriots recieved the ball for the second half and Tom Brady kept the foot on the gas, leading to Julian Edelman’s first touchdown pass of the 2016 season. 31-10 Patriots.

The Bills would tack on a touchdown score following a 26 yard run up the middle to make it 31-17 Patriots with 7:57 to go in the third quarter but “Clydesdale Tom” would not be denied, proving to the doubters that Momma Brady knows best and he can run too.

The run would set up a LeGarette Blount touchdown score, his ninth of 2016 and all but iced the game for the Patriots. Another Gostkowski field goal raised the lead to 41-17

The Bills would tack on a garbage time touchdown late in the fourth quarter but that would be it as the Patriots walked out of Buffalo with a 41-25 victory and a commanding three game lead in the AFC East going into their bye week.

Through four games following suspension, Brady’s stat line shows 1,319 passing yards, 12 Touchdowns to zero interceptions. Now read all about it in this weeks “TB Times.”
