Best of Social Media: Week 5 Patriots vs Browns
Thomas J. Russo - USA TODAY Sports
When the New England Patriots arrived in Cleveland for Week 5 of the regular season, it marked not only the return of quarterback and leader Tom Brady, but a homecoming of sorts for wide receiver and Kent State University graduate Julian Edelman.
After going 3-1 without Brady, the Patriots were looking to get back on track with a win against the win-less Browns.
Being back in Ohio brings back a bunch of great memories. Learned a lot about life and met some great people here. #goflsshes #businesstrip

Following the game, head coach Bill Belichick had the team buses stop in front of the statue of Jim Brown to pay tribute and appreciation to the Hall of Famer. When asked about the stop, Belichick had this to say during his monday morning conference call;
“That statue was recently put there, it’s kind of remarkable that it hadn’t happened sooner, but regardless I’m not sure how many of our players really understand or appreciate what he meant to the game and what he has meant to the game through his continued involvement,” Belichick then said, “That’s why we did it and I’m glad they appreciated it. Hopefully that’s something as part of their football career will be one small memory, is just the recognition of a great player and a great person and somebody who’s really made the game better for all of us.”
