For the second week in a row, Bleacher Report’s “Fake Tom Brady” appeared at a Patriots game, but in the home opener tailgates in the Gillette Stadium parking lots.

This time around, there was a plot twist, the man behind the mask was somebody known quite well in Patriots Nation.

Former wide receiver Wes Welker, who played in New England from 2007-2012 was revealed as the true identity, shocking many fans.

It was later revealed during the game that Wes was in attendance to see the Patriots victory.

Earlier in the week, during a special hosting of a morning sports talk show in Miami on WQAM, Welker hinted at his Sunday plans stating he was coming to Foxborough to “do a little spoof deal.”
