For New England Patriots wide reciever Julian Edelman, his rise to stardom in the NFL began with much uncertainty. Drafted as the 232nd pick in the 7th round of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Kent State, Edelman wasn’t projected by many to be an impact in the NFL. Over his first four seasons, Edelman was used mainly on special teams, and near the bottom of the wide receiver depth chart.
