REPORT: Gronkowski May Miss One Game, ‘May Not Even Miss That’

After seeing Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowksi down on the turf Sunday night, it was hard not to wonder if we were witnessing a repeat of the 2013 injury that cost him his season.
The news last night after the game gave a glimmer of hope that his season wasn’t over just yet and Monday’s news is even more encouraging after it sounds like any absence may be very brief by the veteran tight end.
Gronkowski underwent an MRI on Monday and it sounds like there’s plenty of reason for optimism, with Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reporting that Gronkowski isn’t likely to miss more than one game and according to Rapoport, he may not even miss that.

Considering how things looked last night that’s incredible news and after everything that’s transpired this season, it appears the Patriots finally received a much needed break on the injury front.
