In a video first posted by Twitter user Kevin Vellturo, the UConn Huskies football team successfully pulled off a trick play that might look awfully familiar to New England Patriots fans in their big upset win over the 13th ranked University of Houston on Saturday night by a final score of 20-17.
UConn Quarterback Tim Boyle threw a backwards pass to backup quarterback-turned receiver Garrett Anderson who then proceeded to throw the football 45 yards for a touchdown score to wide receiver Noel Thomas giving the Huskies a 20-10 lead in the fourth quarter.
It was a play that appeared very similar to the Tom Brady fake screen pass to Julian Edelman who then threw deep to Danny Amendola for a touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens in last years playoff game.
