REPORT: Patriots Special Teams Ace Slater Expected to ‘Miss Time’
🕑 Read Time: 1 minutes

The Patriots have had one of the best special teams players in the game for a long time, but it sounds like they may be without him in the coming weeks.

According to Jason Cole, Slater is expected to “miss time” but the good news is it sounds like it might be temporary.

According to some reports he suffered an apparent knee injury late in the game against the Colts and has since been spotted in the locker room, which is a good sign. For now it appears that he may have dodged a bullet and escaped serious injury. No word yet on how long he’ll be out, but it’s certainly a tough blow given his value in coverage in the kicking game for New England.
