In his first week back from being suspended, Dallas defensive lineman Greg Hardy has wasted little time running his mouth and making inappropriate comments.

With Tom Brady now on his radar Hardy decided it might be fun to make comments about the quarterback’s wife, who he’s hoping is on hand to see him battle her husband this weekend when Brady visits the Cowboys’ stadium.

“I love seeing Tom Brady, he’s cool as crap,” Hardy told reporters in Dallas Wednesday. “Have you seen his wife? I hope she comes to the game. I hope her sister comes to the game, all her friends come to the game. One of my favorite games of the year, guys.”

The last time Brady faced him in a meaningful game was back in 2013 in a Monday night loss in Carolina that saw New England lose a rare game coming off a bye 24-20.  In that game Hardy finished with six tackles and he also had a sack.

When asked about his thoughts on Hardy’s comments, Brady wouldn’t bite and credited Hardy’s skills on the field, but he doesn’t really care about what he says.

“No, I’m just getting ready to play, man,” said Brady when asked about it.  “I’ve got to focus on my job. He’s a great player. We’ve got to … It takes a lot of different things to handle a guy like that. But he’s been a great player since he’s been in the league, so we’re going to have to prepare for him and be ready for all different types of moves that he’s got.”

“But they’ve got a good D-line anyway.  They count on getting pressure from their front four getting to the quarterback, so I don’t really care about his personal feelings.”
