stanton had 2 bombs today and a double. the yankees are going to roll over the redsox. the sox are the worst team in boston.
its april. ill be thrilled when they win a playoff series.14-2, best record in baseball and best start in franchise history. Offense and power numbers have been great (highest .SLG% and most XBH in the majors), and the pitching has been pretty damn good too. Have to be thrilled with this start.
Cora has definitely done wonders for the clubhouse, and he seems to make just the right decision more often than not. People were scratching their heads about starting Holt against Ohtani, but Holt broke out of his slump that game. Sat Benintendi in favor of Moreland yesterday, and Moreland goes 3-4 with 4RBI. Cora looks like a huge step up from Farrell.great start to the season. I always said the more you win in April the less you HAVE to win in September. Its just a different atmosphere in the clubhouse with Cora on board and everyone seems to be focused on baseball.
As a whole, I think you’re right, but sitting both Betts and Ramirez on Sunday was one thing; keeping Price in when he was obviously losing it is a questionable decision. Reminded me of opening day, and the choice to keep Kimbrel on the bench, which backfired horribly.Cora has definitely done wonders for the clubhouse, and he seems to make just the right decision more often than not.
