Pats sign Maurice Harris, former Skins WR

Looks like a decent #4 WR actually.

It would be great if one of these bargain basement signings becomes the next David Patten type signing. We're overdue, right?

Another example of why Brady is the greatest ****ing QB of all time.

He has a spot until Josh Gordon comes back in 2 years.

Took a look at his pro day numbers. Nothing particularly interesting aside from the...wait for it...3 cone which is pretty good for his size although not spectacular by any stretch.

Interesting that the article refers to him as “sticky-fingered” as he’s supposed to be a sure handed catcher.

The 6-foot-2, 199-pounder clocked in at a stock-raising 4.56 in the 40-yard dash, added a 4.35-second 20-yard shuttle, an 11.5-second 60-yard shuttle, and a 6.95-second three-cone drill.

Cal NFL Pro Day: Maurice Harris

File under FWIW.

It’s highlights so limited value, but I do like a WR that catches the ball away from his body.

Harris and Lacoste share a statistical oddity. Been in the league awhile, but 80-90% of production occurred last year. Bill gambling on the hot stock.

If you like SS and 3-cone numbers, check out Ellington's: 3.95 and 6.69. Elite!

Looks slow as molasses but good hands

So is it fair now to say we're using the same strategy as last year for WRs? Sign a bunch a JAGs and see what sticks at WR.
Unfortunately, yes.

Say goodbye to Golden Tate, again.
