Anybody have an opinion on Tim Settle as a fairly cheap nose tackle solution?
I know some guys on here liked him coming out of college.
From what I can tell he’s done alright, just been stuck behind a pretty stacked d-line.
Why aren’t any of the talking heads talking about the fact that the chiefs have lost to every current afc play-off team they’ve met?
Titans, Bills, Bengals, Chargers. Haven’t played Colts and Patriots. Did split with the Chargers.
Corey Davis.
Immensely talented, seems to have come alive a bit under Tannehill, great blocker, not as expensive as the top guys, but probably as talented, and still young. Was drafted fifth overall for a reason.
That would be my guy.
I hope your right. And I wouldn't even be that surprised if they came away with a draft haul of players that would grow on me. Like a Winovich last year.
I just normally have 5-10 players spread across the draft that I'm really excited about. But not this year.
Got a question for you folks.
How do you generally like this years draft class?
The reason I ask, is that I'm not that stoked. There are obviously players that I like, but I can't say I have that many binkies this year - if any.
Did I just not spend enough time on research this year or is my...
Trade: 3+6 for OJ Howard
At this point I'll assume it's Stidham next year. So, I'm thinking strong defense to carry the team, while stidham hopefully grows and the offense finds its identity.
2: Epenesa or Gross-Matos, edge
3a: Logan Wilson or Malik Harrison, LB
3b: Davon Hamilton, Raekwon...
They might not get two because of his age, but of course they'll get a 1st and then some.
Best cb in the league, defensive player of the year, still 3-5 good years left in him, on a reasonable contract.
Now, I might be wrong, but looking at other trades over the past few seasons, I just can't...
I'm not sure. I like Watson, but he can be a bit up and down. And this deal would limit us in terms of building around him.
On the other hand, are we going to be in a position to get anyone with his potential anytime soon? And he's still young.
I wouldn't hate it. I guess that's as close as...
I mentioned the ramsey trade earlier in regards to gilmore. That was two 1sts and a 4th. So that plus thuney for a proven qb might not be crazy.
Whether or not they should do it is a different question.
You're right. He also had/have a reputation for being "difficult" and a me-player.
Gilmore still has 3-4 good years. All I'm saying is if the right team in the right situation offers the right deal, then I'm open to trading him. We've seen teams in win now mode be willing to offer crazy deals...
Jalen Ramsey went for two 1sts and a 4th. I'd take that. I wouldn't if Brady were still here.
We need to get younger. And with quality players. High, d-Mac, slater are old. Brady, ghost are gone. We need the next group of leaders, the next spine, if you will.
We might also need a QB, in...
Let's call it coaching in general then. KS not doing anything with 1.40 on the clock to end the first half and just generally playing conservativelly was a huge problem.
If you play to not lose, you derserve to lose.
