Re: Breaking News : NYT - Matt Walsh & Tapes

Who gets to break the news to BadMoFo that Tomase is about to embark on his new career serving french fries?

No! No! Au contre! When Bob Kraft wins the Boston Herald in his defamation lawsuit, he should make Tomase his Piss Boy ala History of the World, Part 1.

Re: Thank you John Tomase and Boston Herald

I'm probably wrong on this but did Specter claim that Matt Walsh DID have a walk through tape?

No you are right , on the famous Rush Limbaugh show , the transcript which I think is printed somewhere in this thread, he says there was a super bowl tape.. Now if he says that he is right, I have one, and have on dvd, and im sure alot of people on this board have one as well. :D

Re: Breaking News : NYT - Matt Walsh & Tapes

You know what's so funny about this? With the specificity of dates, we should be exonerated of some of the accusations.

Notice the date of the first video and how it was dated the day after a game? And then the very vague exclusion of the other dates of production, merely inclusion in a range of dates? The accusation of any complaining party in this case has been based on the possibility that Belichick was deciphering the signals in half time locker rooms? Or even that the Patriots were using them during the actual game?

The Times article never says anything to prove that complaint, even providing info that would show that they weren't doing it.

All this proves is that the Pats were preparing for something that has been an admitted practice among nearly every coach since the onset of the game and is still widely practiced now? So, this is merely another instance of the Pats preparing better than all of their competition. :D

They're moving the goalposts already in Buffalo:

http://widerightradio.blogspot.com/2008/05/pats-spy-on-bills.html

"The tapes turned over by Ex-Patriots employee, Matt Walsh, show that the Pats spied on the Bills between 2000 and 2003. Other teams victimized included Dolphins, Browns, Chargers, Steelers, and of course the Jets."

A lying politician, surprise surprise eh?

Re: Thank you John Tomase and Boston Herald

Like others, I'm hateful and bitter at many people. But if this is all there is I'm just glad we can move on without any more penalties. 2008 all the way now.

I'm with you. I so want this crap behind us.

Geez, check out the comments on the PFT story. People are already claiming this is an NFL conspiracy and a cover-up.

This won't die anytime soon. Not with the amount of anti-Patriot sentiment there is out there right now.

Re: NYT: Walsh sends tapes to Goodell, NO walkthrough tape

As fans of our team we should raise hell and make these ******* answer for all their accusations and innuendo. We should all bombard these jerks with emails and phone calls and demand the Herald write a retraction.

Lets hope Goodell does the right thing and lets this die a long awaited death.

That's OK, if this is all there is there's nothing new for the Commissioner and that's all I care about. Fans and media's opinions can kiss my ass.

Re: Breaking News : NYT - Matt Walsh & Tapes

so, what should Kraft name the Herald?
Newspapers are dying anyway. Little thing Al Gore gave us called the Internet ;) is to newspapers as the auto was to the horse and carriage. Feel for the people that get laid off, but many industries, like engineering go through it, so F%^& the Herald.

I don't. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Arlen Spector? Now it's YOUR turn to be asked a few questions on the hot seat.

Comcast? You're next.

Tomase, you third.

Some folks are about to get what's coming to them and it's about time.

If this is all he has, why the wait, and if he did not say anything to the Herald who did?? I think as fans we need to know that source...

Re: NYT: Walsh sends tapes to Goodell, NO walkthrough tape, all from 2000 and 2002

Why is everyone gloating about Walsh not having a tape of the alleged Rams walkthrough..? Don't you guys realize one of the tapes is from an AFC Championship game..? Let that sink in for a few. I'm just worried of what the additional penalties will be now.

Yeah, but their headquarters/plant repesents some nice real estate. Kraft could bulldoze the building and build the Revolution's Soccer Stadium there.

Why? BB already admitted to the taping before.

Re: NYT: Walsh sends tapes to Goodell, NO walkthrough tape, all from 2000 and 2002

iam sure the *bleeping* media hacks will still continue with their venom because goodell is not going to show the tapes and destroy them.
The next hue and cry will be about goodell destroying the tapes.

During a public game. At a time when it was not illegal to video tape.

What's your point?
