Edelman: Separated AC Joint and other injuries

I wouldn't be surprised if Edelman winds up being the Larry Fitz of the Pats and winds up playing deep into his 30s.

Would love that but not with this current TE less Group.

Love Jules. Get that man some rest!

And what other injuries does anyone know of?

I have to believe that Mason, Cannon, Snau,
Izzo, and a few others were playing hurt too.

Seriously you making a case for Ryan Izzo?? The guys sucks he shouldn't even be in the NFL same goes for LaGlasse please BB move on from them.

Edelman is tough as nails. He needs help at WR to keep from getting constantly doubled. Would love to see BB get Green in FA. Maybe being reunited with his old teammate will help Sanu as well.

Ronnie Lott says hello. Edelman is a tough SOB, though.
Ronnie was as psycho as he was tough. No sane person opts to have a finger amputated rather than have surgery but that guy did

that’s not something to be proud of

Edleman is easily one of the toughest guys to ever do it. He plays with the mentality that there's someone always trying to take his spot. His blocking is also underappreciated.

Mentioning Lott got me thinking of Johnson a few years ago. Dude found a piece of his digit in his glove.
Rashad Johnson applies Sulligent toughness to NFL for unbeaten Arizona ...

Bunch of old timers like Bednarik were fighting in the war, chasing Hitler around Germany.

Edelman will be 34. That's ancient for a wr. I think he retires. Especially with brady gone.

I worry about the guy. But one of the toughest I've seen play. He may pound his way into the HOF.

I’ll agree cutting your finger off to stay in a game is about as tough as it gets.

False. He had it done in the offseason in April of '86.

Edelman is my favorite Pats player. He has given so much to Pats. When he is 60 he probably won't be able to walk

Thanks Jules

I’d run through a wall for Jules. He’s been phenomenal this season. Hope he can heal up and get himself healthy again. He’s as tough as there is.

I don't see why someone thinks that this is funny. I also think that Edelman will retire if he isn't playing with Brady next season.

Well, that's why I said "arguably". I'm not the one arguing it.

Who was in this thread arguing that Edelman had not survived the year?

Not only that, but he's since then confessed that he has always regretted doing that, called it a very stupid move, and said that if he ever got to be a HC, he would try to treat players in a very human way.

He talked about being sickened at seeing the nub of his finger for the first time, he was in a state of shock at what he had done to himself.

that’s ancient for a speed wide receiver, but edelman’s game has never been built on speed. No reason he can not come back next season healthy and productive.

off season wr rebuild:

1.) keep Edelman, Harry and Myers.
2.) sign free agents aj green and pharaoh cooper.
3.) draft Edwards from South Carolina in the third round.
