Remember that everyone is subject to waivers. So even if Folk would prefer to be re-signed by NE after being cut he might not have any say. Hence I doubt NE cuts him.

Honestly, I would be shocked if someone claims him unless they just wanna cut someone else, spend some extra dollars just to **** with NE.
