Can Boston win the championship grand slam?

Basically everyone believes that the NBA that existed when they were teenagers was the best the league ever was.
The NBA has become one dimensional.
Rebounding no longer matters.
Fast break opportunities are minimal
Creative passing that frees up easy baskets....rare
All that matters now are 23 footers.

Watching the NBA now is like watching the one dimensional Yankees compile short porch HRs at a record pace...... so uncompelling

Agreed except for the bold

The new NBA is ruled by percentages and the “coaching by percentages” book is clear: eliminate fast break buckets at the expense of challenging for offensive rebounds and being vulnerable in transition.
The Brad lives by this rule.
And with 4 and 5 chuckers positioned 23 feet out, offensive rebounding has become low priority until desperation takes over

A2D, rebounding is and always will be fundamental to winning basketball and with the amount of 3's teams shoot these days, offensive rebounds have become even more important.. 2nd shot opportunities kill teams

It will never happen of course, but I think the sport would improve exponentially if they got rid of the three.

Assuming the Celtics lose tonight, it will be the first Boston elimination since 5/27/18. Hell of a run.

No

The embarrassment that has been the 2018-2019 has made certain of that.

Can Boston win the grand slam of championships this year, winning the title of all four major sports in the same year?

Evidently not. But 3 out of 4 is still very much a possibility. And that's not too shabby

Not at all lmao, we here are hanging our heads at NOT winning ONE of the main 4 sports championships, I can understand other parts of country feelingwnormous jealousy

We’re thinking of something that’s hasn’t been done in modern times (winning 3 major sports in one year) as a CONSOLATION PRIZE

Man am I glad to be part of that instead of looking at it from the outside...

The Celtics quit during the season and we were told to wait for the playoffs when they quit again.. this team has many flaws and need a major overhaul of this team.. Kyrie is not the answer ( 6-21 shooting about 29% and 1 for 7 on three pointers) and have to wonder is Hayward's issue is his leg or his head....

Blow the whole thing up, and nothing in my mind is worse than a bunch of pro guys in any sport who have just given up..

You can’t be a worse leader than Kyrie is. That toxic douche deserves NY.

And the Celtics get killed on the boards in virtually every game, and lose to good teams as a result. That's Stevens' MO before and after Kyrie. It's maddening.

He’s my least favorite great hometown player ever. Good riddance.

He's just a mercenary signing that didn't pan out. I wouldn't really consider him a "hometown player." Or great for that matter.

He's a great offensive player but that's about it.. and even that doesn't matter when you stink up the joint like he did against the Bucks.. obviously not a leader and doesn't really seem like he has his head straight or really knows what he wants out of basketball or his life.

I was excited when the Celtics got him, I was impressed by his offensive capabilities, but other than that meh.

Hugely disappointing season and it all starts with him. Last year's Celtics would have beaten this year's IMO. You can't teach heart or "want to", something the 18-19 Celtics greatly lacked.

Carolina and Bruins.......Good matchup...Bruins need to get their offense revved up a bit......and Chara needs to up his game......looks slow....not good....
