Is Gordon in some kind of dog house? I know he dropped ONE early, but where was he the rest of the game?

Gronk is done son.
He has Jason witten like suddenness.
Gronk needs to take a huge paycut if he comes back next season.
Hogan is a jag Edelman is on his last legs.
Gordon is the only receiver we should be on the roster.
Agreed...pay the money and keep the stud....dump everyone else and rebuild the corps...need new coaching and vision....and need to build a kickA$$ D too!!

Some of the mishaps were totally on Brady (cluster**** before halftime in Miami, todays INT) but a lot of the issues on offense are more fundamental than him. It is not like he is missing open players on the majority of plays.

Which is why I'm saying that I DIDNT say he was done. Or washed up or that this is his fault.

I'm just saying he isn't absent of blame and that's ok to say, he wouldn't disagree with the idea that he has to be better.

Hard to disagree with the last few games. He is making mental mistakes (sack in MIA and pick today) that he never makes. He’s 41, and although there is no cliff, he is slowing down. It happens

He has been making one brainfart level mistake in almost every other game this year so I am not sure it is really fair to say he is never making them. Statistically he is playing pretty close to his MVP season from last year but the redzone issues and that one brainfart every 10 days add up to some tough losses that were wins just a year ago.

Please tell me you that you think the defense played well. The last drive was a perfect example....ball deep in Pitt territory needing a 3 and out and what happens, Pitt comes down the field and scores a fg…..If you think the defense played well, I can't help you.

Did the offense play well, no, not at all and I said that in my post, but do not try and defend this defense, just don't.
The defense wasn’t great by they played about as well as we could expect. The offense was way below expectations.

Not really. It was highly predictable. The team replaced Amendola and Cooks with garbage and bought big on Edelman and Gronk being prime versions of themselves instead of declining versions of themselves

The off-season plan was to hope Kenny Britt, Jordan Matthews and Phil Dorsett would amount to something and Gronk would find the fountain of youth

It was a bad plan. The money they saved on Amendola went to Clayborn and Shelton who are trash. Their entire draft is a flop.

Belichick had a terrible offseason and it’s killing the team. Not much hope going forward given the holes all over the roster and lack of money to spend

Agree with pretty much everything but it’s too early to judge the draft. I hated the Cooks trade from jump street, just a brain-dead move. Edelman is showing his age and Gronk is a shadow of his former greatness but still is a formidable blocker.

The defensive additions in FA have pretty much all been misses. Shelton, Clayborn and JMac all suck with extreme prejudice. Over the last several seasons I’ve been swayed to the thinking that the Pats need to separate the GM/HC powers and have BB simply focus on the HC half.

Some of you are super annoying. They lost on the road to a team who was desperate for a win. Last week was a bad loss, but they could have won today despite Pitt being at Heinz and desperate. A bye is still possible, but to say Brady is done because his WRs cant get open or OL sucks is foul. Screw that....
They're just blowing steam. I learned to tune out all that kinda talk. Its like a toddler that needs a nap. Every fanbase has people like that. Just gotta ignore the noise.:p

When he has a run like he has I understand how hard it is for the simpletons to express even a slight negative thing about Mr. Perfect.

But his last two weeks have been bad. Like, really really really bad.

I'm sure brady disagrees with me and is super happy to come out of today's game with 1 touchdown and two pointless trips tothe red zone.

358 yards, 3 TDs, 0 picks = really, really really bad according to festy

Technically speaking, any team that reaches the playoffs can reach the SB. So I guess you're right there.

If the current seeding holds up, we're going to be facing a Rookie QB (ravens) in the WC round; then a 2nd year QB with no playoff experience in round 2; and either a rookie QB in AFCCG or we will be hosting the game in Foxboro.
It's totally do-able.

I don’t get it. One game he stands in the pocket and makes a throw knowing he’s gonna get crushed then the next few games he looks like this. Jittery, falling away, and lobbing off his back foot. Physically I don’t see a big difference but mentally he is making bad mistakes and not being decisive.
Battle scars....Toms time coming to an end....Greatest of all time but everyone gets old

I pin none of this on Gordon. Only being targeted twice is moronic on the part of the offense. And if I remember those Steelers were concentrated on him when hogan ran free for our only score.

And some Josh Gordon would be nice.
oh yeah. thank you josh for that 3rd down drop. Maybe a catch would've led to more than 10 points.

Yeah Im being a ****. Sorry. I'll be back to normal in an hour lol.

I can hear BB now. We need to coach better, practice better execute... stfu. For years now you’ve done little to blister the roster except go cheap and throw crap on the walls and hope it sticks.

That’s the thing with the NFL, elite level to shmo can be a fine line sometimes.

Is there any player there who's even top 25 at his position? That's 3 years of nothing.

Very well said

Are you watching the same games as me.

He had 1 td and 1 crazy bad horrible int today.

But ok...

So please explain to me the travesty of this 2018 offense. It's simply awful. Cannot score in the RZ, period. Average run game, below average WR's, horrendous OL way off kilter, black hole at TE, aging QB who may be declining before our eyes. It's a mess.

It's not a travesty. It's not as great as it once was but they were top 5 heading into this game. And the D is linked to the offense. If the defense cannot stop any one, especially the run D, it gives less time for the offense. Bottom line is Brady only trusts Jules and Gronk and constantly looks their way. And teams know that and will simply double team them. As Brady is getting older, he is getting more conservative and that means targeting the guys he most trusts. In the past he would look more to someone like Hogan.
