The Steelers are not keyed in on stopping Gronk at all. He is just not healthy enough to be as effective as in previous years. How often have you seen him line up outside against a safety or CB this year ? That was a staple play that pulled safeties to one side of the field. Now they usually keep him tight to the line and hope he draws a favorable matchup against a LB.

The way he has been used is pretty telling.

Gronk is nowhere near the player he was even last year. Edelman is dropping more passes. Hogan isn't as consistent as years past.

This might be our worst team since 2002 and we will STILL win the division and make the playoffs.

Super slo mo made me think it was irrelevant if his shin was down.

He recovered and continued not from contact, a hit, or a tackle... he could roll all the wY to the end zone if he truly had recovered

Let’s see if McDouche can shut down Gordon in the second half too.

It has been worse. The score doesnt illustrate the story.

The Pats are getting effed hard

Our secondary is holding up okay. Jason is struggling a little but all in all not too bad considering we can't stop the run or move Ben off his spot enough. We need taller defensive linemen next year. All of these short passes against us never seem to get batted down.

Our offense needs to run through White and Patterson for a little while. Their effort is higher than everyone else's. For the time being we might even need to bench Edelman because he alone is ruining some drives.

I’d agree with that. Still won’t stop me from watching. Any given Sunday. Just have to beat the team on our schedule.
